Xentro Studios – Grid Layers Tool for After Effects

A dockable ScriptUI panel for Adobe After Effects by Xentro Studios.

This tool arranges selected layers into structured layouts such as Square grids, Circles, and Triangles.

🔧 Installation Instructions

Locate Script Folder

Navigate to your After Effects installation directory:

Windows: Adobe After Effects > Support Files > Scripts > ScriptUI Panels

Mac: /Applications/Adobe After Effects <version>/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels/

Copy the Script

Copy Xentro Grid Layers Tool.jsx into the ScriptUI Panels folder.

Enable Scripting Access

In After Effects:

Go to Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions

Enable "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network"

Launch the Panel

Restart After Effects and open via:

Window > Xentro Studios – Grid Layers Tool
