Xentro Studios – 3D Extruder Tool for After Effects

A dockable ScriptUI panel for Adobe After Effects by Xentro Studios.

This tool allows you to extrude 2D shape layers into 3D depth quickly using the Cinema 4D renderer.

🔧 Installation Instructions

1. Locate Script Folder

- **Windows:** Adobe After Effects > Support Files > Scripts > ScriptUI Panels

- **Mac:** /Applications/Adobe After Effects <version>/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels/

2. Copy the Script

- Copy `Xentro 3D extruder.jsx` into the ScriptUI Panels folder.

3. Enable Scripting Access

- Go to **Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions**

- Enable **"Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network"**

4. Launch the Panel

- Restart After Effects

- Open via **Window > Xentro Studios – 3D Extruder**

• One Shape Layer selected in active composition
