The Authentic Audition is a 5-day intensive workshop designed to help you deliver truthful performances under real-world conditions—whether at auditions or shoots. Over five evenings you will learn to find inner motivation for different kinds of directions that could be given to you on set.

The focus is mainly on immediate application—shooting auditions in a few takes, taking on-the-spot direction and implementing your learnings in high-stake situations, without compromising on authenticity. With targeted character briefs and personalised guidance, you’ll develop the ability to bring your unique self to the moments that really matter.

Atul has conducted workshops for around 100 films while working with prominent filmmakers including Zoya Akhtar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sharat Kataria, Navdeep Singh, Kanu Behl, and Reema Kagti, etc. He has trained several contemporary Indian actors including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Karthik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Vaani Kapoor, Deepak Dobriyal, Ahaan Pandey, Adarsh Gourav and many more.

The workshop will be conducted by Atul Mongia's senior associate at The Artist Collective. The medium of communication will be English and Hindi.
