Our immersive 9-day Acting and the Self workshop is designed to create an authentic and organic acting experience. The workshop is uniquely designed by Atul Mongia and will help nourish Truth in your performances. Over the 9 days, you will learn to draw organic performances from the sphere of your own emotions. There will be scene work and various other exercises designed to help you develop as an actor and as an individual. There is no particular methodology used here, it is a program that allows you to develop and draw from the Self.

The Artist Collective, believes that every actor has something unique and limitless to offer, and our goal is to facilitate the discovery of this rare element. The workshops are designed by our founder and a pioneer of acting workshops in the Indian film industry, Atul Mongia.

Atul has conducted workshops for around 100 films while working with prominent filmmakers including Zoya Akhtar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sharat Kataria, Navdeep Singh, Kanu Behl, and Reema Kagti, etc. He has trained several contemporary Indian actors including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Karthik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Vaani Kapoor, Deepak Dobriyal and many more.

The workshop will be conducted by Atul Mongia's senior associate at The Artist Collective. The medium of communication will be English and Hindi.
